Softball Recap: Grissom Comes Up Short

Grissom and Sparkman squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Grissom had to settle for second. They lost 12-2 to the Senators. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Senators this season, with their most recent loss being a 13-3 defeat two weeks ago.

Grissom's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 18-15. As for Sparkman, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 34-12-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Grissom nor Sparkman have any future games scheduled.
