It may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Somerset Berkley Regional ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bourne Canalmen, sneaking past 81-79. Winning may never get old, but the Raiders sure are getting used to it with their 14th in a row.
Somerset Berkley Regional got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Colten Pacheco out in front who went 9-for-13 en route to 21 points and three steals. Pacheco's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Finnian Bjork was another key player, dropping a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Somerset Berkley Regional pushed their record up to 17-1 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Bourne, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-2.
