Volleyball Game Preview: Charlestown Pirates vs. North Harrison Cougars

The Charlestown Pirates will take on the North Harrison Cougars at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Charlestown will be strutting in after a win while North Harrison will be coming in after a defeat.

Charlestown is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Scottsburg by a score of 3-1.

Meanwhile, North Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of South Spencer.

North Harrison's defeat dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Charlestown, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-18 record this season.

Charlestown couldn't quite get it done against North Harrison when the teams last played back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Pirates avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
