The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bengals earlier this season, when they won 8-1.

Elyria Catholic has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-8 record this season. As for Benedictine, they moved to 5-13 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
