            Volleyball Recap: Clinton Cougars vs. Big Foot Chiefs        
        
		
        
        
            Clinton hadn't done well against Big Foot recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Saturday. The Cougars came out on top against the Chiefs by a score of  2-0. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Chiefs  back in September, they had to take a  3-2  defeat.
 Clinton never let Big Foot on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22,  25-13.
Clinton's offense was headlined by  Macy Hinz and  Sadie Yeadon, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from  Maryn Waite and her eight assists.
 When it comes to explaining why Big Foot lost, don't look at  Chloe Pearce. Despite the final result, she  had 11  digs and three  aces.

Clinton pushed their record up to 7-15 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. As for Big Foot, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-21 record  this season.
 Clinton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  2-0  loss against Brodhead on the 11th. As for Big Foot, they have also already played their next match,  a  2-0  win against Beloit Memorial on the 11th.
