Basketball Recap: Glenn Takes a Loss

Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 76-28 loss at the hands of the Parkland Mustangs. The Bobcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-13.

Parkland got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kimora Brooks out in front who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 15 boards. Those 15 rebounds gave Brooks a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Azari Wilkins, who went 9-for-13 to rack up 22 points and three steals.

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Parkland, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Glenn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Parkland, they will head out to square off against Mount Tabor at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mount Tabor will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Parkland surely won't give up without a fight.
