Football Recap: Golden Piles Up the Points Against Wheat Ridge + How To Watch

After low-scoring totals in their previous five matchup, Golden brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They took their game on Monday with ease, bagging a 45-0 win over the Wheat Ridge Farmers. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Demons just coasted through the last quarter.

Golden didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Ella Giovannetti and Allie Oelschlager were the leaders of the group effort as each produced two apiece.

Golden's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Wheat Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Coincidentally, Golden and Wheat Ridge will both be playing Green Mountain the next time they take the field. The Demons will host the Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Farmers will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
