After flying high against Tucker County on Thursday, Philip Barbour came back down to earth. The Colts took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Keyser Golden Tornado on Saturday. The Colts' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Philip Barbour saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landyn Carpenter, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Philip Barbour's loss dropped their record down to 17-3. As for Keyser, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-16.

Coming up, Keyser will face off against Preston at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last three games the Knights have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
