Soccer Game Preview: Central Dauphin East vs. Bishop McDevitt

The Central Dauphin East Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Bishop McDevitt Crusaders at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Central Dauphin East turned things around against Palmyra on Tuesday. Neither they nor the Cougars could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Central Dauphin East have been dealt a draw since back in August.

Meanwhile, Bishop McDevitt kept a clean sheet against Red Land on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Patriots 1-0. Bishop McDevitt haven't had any issues with Red Land recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

With that draw, Central Dauphin East's record moves to 2-10-4. As for Bishop McDevitt, their win bumped their record up to 7-8-1.

Central Dauphin East couldn't quite get it done against Bishop McDevitt when the teams last played back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
