Volleyball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central lost against Carl Hayden Community back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Central Bobcats lost 3-0 to the Carl Hayden Community Falcons.

While Central ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-18.

Carl Hayden Community can attribute much of their success to Adrian Pita Guaydacan, who had 12 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Pita Guaydacan has posted over his last three matches.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Carl Hayden Community, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central will head out to take on Desert Edge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carl Hayden Community, they are taking a road trip to challenge Verrado at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
