Soccer Game Preview: Buckeye vs. Kellis

The Buckeye Hawks will head out to square off against the Kellis Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Buckeye is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Kofa on Tuesday. Buckeye and Kofa finished up their game with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Kellis duked it out withWillow Canyon on Tuesday. Kellis lost 7-1 to Willow Canyon. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost six in a row.

Buckeye's draw gives them a new season record of 7-2-1. As for Kellis, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6-1.

Buckeye might still be hurting after the 6-1 defeat they got from Kellis in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Buckeye avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
