Baseball Recap: Beverly Takes a Loss

Beverly came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Wakefield Memorial Warriors, falling 10-1. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Beverly has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Wakefield Memorial, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beverly will head out to challenge Saugus at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wakefield Memorial, they will square off against Burlington at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
