Basketball Game Preview: Jamestown Red & Green vs. Bishop Timon-St. Jude Tigers

The Jamestown Red & Green will take on the Bishop Timon-St. Jude Tigers at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Jamestown's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Last Friday, everything went Jamestown's way against Rush-Henrietta as Jamestown made off with a 71-51 victory. The Red & Green have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Bishop Timon-St. Jude entered their tilt with Nichols on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 78-71 win over the Vikings. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Vikings are ranked 182nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bishop Timon-St. Jude's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Jamestown, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-2.

Jamestown took a serious blow against Bishop Timon-St. Jude when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 100-68. Thankfully for Jamestown, Jaiden Harrison (who went 13-for-19 to rack up 34 points in addition to eight assists and eight rebounds) won't be suiting up this time.
