After losing to Colleton County the last time they met, May River decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The May River Sharks took their matchup on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 50-19 victory over the Colleton County Cougars. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Sharks have posted since November 25, 2024.

May River's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Green, who posted eight points in addition to 13 rebounds and three blocks. Brooke Dalton was another key player, going 5 of 8 on her way to 10 points.

May River's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Colleton County, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

May River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 64-37 loss against Bishop England on the 31st. Colleton County has also already played their next matchup, a 31-20 defeat against Beaufort on the 31st.
