Luke Hemric posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 18 over seven innings pitched. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Green Hope back in March of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Hemric is becoming a predictor of Apex Friendship's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 2-1 (and 3-4 when he doesn't).

Apex Friendship's road trip will continue as they head out to face Apex at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
