Passers beware: Lucas Persun came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also rushed for one yards, helping propel Athens past Wellsboro by a score of 35-22. We hope Persun's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Coming up, Persun and Athens will square off against Towanda at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time these two faced off, Persun and Co. were forced to settle for a 34-13 loss.
