Softball Recap: Hays Indians vs. Dodge City Demons

Hays won against Dodge City last Tuesday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Indians didn't even let the Demons on the board, marking the Indians' second-straight 15-0 shutout. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Demons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Jaylee Summers made a big impact no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
