Volleyball Recap: Marathon Red Raiders vs. Stanley-Boyd Orioles
Marathon and Stanley-Boyd squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Marathon had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Orioles. If the Red Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Orioles when the teams met back in October of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.
The final score came out to 25-21, 25-13, 25-21.
Marathon's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Stanley-Boyd, they are on a roll lately: they've won 22 of their last 23 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 40-4 record this season.
