Soccer Recap: Jacksonville Takes a Loss

Jacksonville lost against Glenwood back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Crimsons lost 7-0 to the Titans. While losing is never fun, Jacksonville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 248th, while Glenwood are ranked 14th).

Jacksonville is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5-1. As for Glenwood, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Jacksonville didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Staunton on the 12th. As for Glenwood, they have also already played their next game, a 7-2 win against Dunlap on the 12th.
