Football Recap: Somerset Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 42 points the game before, Somerset was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They had to suffer through a 55-7 loss at the hands of the Bishop McCort Crushers. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-7.

Colt Hagans threw for 101 yards and one touchdown. Drew Miller was his top target, picking up 65 receiving yards.

Bishop McCort got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jon Delia out in front who rushed for 102 yards and one TD. Angelo Gallucci was another key player, rushing for 60 yards and one score on only six carries.

Somerset now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Bishop McCort, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Somerset didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-7 loss against Richland on the 26th. As for Bishop McCort, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 41-6 victory against Greater Johnstown on the 26th.
