Basketball Recap: Hancock County Takes a Loss

Hancock County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 55-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Greene Huskies. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 341st, while the Huskies are ranked 123rd).

Hancock County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for North Greene, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 18 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

Looking ahead, Hancock County will head out on the road to square off against Union County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Greene, it'll be Northside v. Southside when they and South Greene meet at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
