Volleyball Game Preview: Rancho San Juan Trailblazers vs. Palma Chieftains

The Rancho San Juan Trailblazers will head out to challenge the Palma Chieftains at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a six-game winning streak alive.

On Monday, Rancho San Juan earned a 3-1 win over Everett Alvarez.

Rancho San Juan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Palma beat York 3-1 on Monday.

Palma was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-22, 18-25, 25-20.

Palma's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-5. As for Rancho San Juan, their record now sits at 18-14.

Rancho San Juan came up short against Palma when the teams last played back in April, falling 2-0. Can the Trailblazers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
