Volleyball Recap: Galt Takes a Loss

Galt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-20, 25-15.

Zoey Sanchez paced Galt's offense, picking up five kills. Sanchez got some help from Maliah Phulmati and her five assists. Morgan Jones controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Galt's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Cosumnes Oaks, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6.

Coincidentally, Galt and Cosumnes Oaks will both be playing Rosemont the next time they take the court. The Wolfpack will head out to face the Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
