Basketball Recap: Miller Grove Comes Up Short

Miller Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Columbia Eagles, falling 81-57. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 367th, while the Eagles are ranked 44th).

Miller Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Columbia, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Miller Grove nor Columbia have any future games scheduled.
