            Basketball Recap: Ashley Hall Panthers vs. Northwood Academy Chargers        
        
		
        
        
            Ashley Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their 22nd straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a   54-7 loss at the hands of the Northwood Academy Chargers. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings  (they are ranked 210th, while the Chargers are ranked 50th).
 Northwood Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Maliyah Birch, who  posted 16  points along with seven  rebounds and five  assists. Birch's afternoon made it four games in a row in which  she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Rylan Dundon, who  put up eight points in addition to 16  boards and three  blocks.
Ashley Hall's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Northwood Academy, the  victory was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-7.
 Ashley Hall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  game,  a  29-25  win against Pinewood Prep on the 3rd. As for Northwood Academy, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  69-35  victory against Palmetto Christian Academy on the 3rd.
