The Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They took a 51-32 bruising from Cape Fear Academy. Arendell Parrott Academy has struggled against Cape Fear Academy recently, as their game on Tuesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Arendell Parrott Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Fletcher Jones, who scored six points along with six rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Jones, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.

Isaiah Gibson was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 15 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. Kareem Anderson was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.

Arendell Parrott Academy bumped their record down to 3-10 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Cape Fear Academy, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arendell Parrott Academy will play host again and welcome Wake Christian Academy, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Wake Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday. As for Cape Fear Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against John Paul II Catholic at 7:00 p.m. John Paul II Catholic will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 422nd, while Cape Fear Academy is ranked 141st).
