Cristo Rey Jesuit has gone a perfect 7-0 against Christ the King recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Cristeros will face off against the Gladiators at 7:00 p.m. Christ the King took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Cristo Rey Jesuit, who comes in off a win.

Cristo Rey Jesuit took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Walther Christian Academy.

While Cristo Rey Jesuit won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Christ the King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northtown.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15.

Christ the King's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Cristo Rey Jesuit, they pushed their record up to 10-6-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Cristo Rey Jesuit beat Christ the King 2-0 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cristeros since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
