Volleyball Recap: Macarthur Falls Short of School Without Walls in the Playoffs + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, MacArthur couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the School Without Walls Penguins by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Mammoths have struggled against the Penguins recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, MacArthur sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 10-25, 25-10.

Leading School Without Walls to victory were Eva Peres Da Camara and Elle Ericsson-White. Peres Da Camara had eight digs and one assist, while Ericsson-White had five digs. That's the most digs Ericsson-White has posted over her last six matches.

MacArthur's loss dropped their record down to 14-4. As for School Without Walls, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season.

MacArthur does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for School Without Walls, they will square off against Jackson-Reed at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
