Football Recap: Cupertino Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cupertino extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They were dealt a 35-0 loss at the hands of the Mills Vikings. The Pioneers lost against the Vikings in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 7-0 score last time.

As for Mills, the victory got them back to even at 2-2. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Valentino Maza went supernova, rushing for 100 yards and one score on only nine carries. Those 100 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Cupertino wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 44-7 defeat against MacDonald on the 3rd. As for Mills, they have also already played their next matchup, a 21-0 loss against El Camino on the 3rd.
