Softball Recap: Earlham Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Cardinals on Saturday. Earlham came up short against Clarinda, falling 14-2. Earlham was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Clarinda apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Earlham's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Clarinda, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Earlham didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-0 defeat against Dallas Center-Grimes on the 31st. As for Clarinda, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-3 loss against Missouri Valley on the 31st.
