Crete-Monee was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Joliet Central on Wednesday. Everything went the Crete-Monee Warriors' way against the Joliet Central Steelmen as the Crete-Monee Warriors made off with a 47-26 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Warriors have posted since November 26, 2024.

Despite the loss, Joliet Central still got an impressive performance from Malachi Kinzie, who posted eight points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Kinzie a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of James Lee, who earned six points.

Crete-Monee has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Joliet Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.
