Payton Thompson's big game helped extend Monmouth-Roseville's winning streak to seven on Friday. Hall/Putnam County had no answer to Thompson as he rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. Thompson really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.

Monmouth-Roseville pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Thompson and Monmouth-Roseville will square off against Rockridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Etheridge As Princeton Won 57-14

Princeton found a leader in Casey Etheridge as the team took down Mendota on Friday. Etheridge turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 171 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries.

Mendota's probably not too fond of Etheridge given he always seems to get the better of them. Etheridge rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries the last time he and the Trojans duked it out back in October of 2023.

Nicholas Huston was instrumental in extending Monmouth-Roseville's winning streak to seven on Friday. Hall/Putnam County had no answer to Huston as he made six total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Huston is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Rockridge on Saturday. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Huston saw the Rockets), he picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made six total tackles.
