Volleyball Recap: Elkhart Wildcats vs. Hugoton Eagles
Elkhart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hugoton Eagles. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
After all that action, the final score was 25-16, 25-17.
Even though they lost, Elkhart was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since last Tuesday.
Elkhart's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Hugoton, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2-2.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Sublette the next time they take the court. Elkhart will head out to face Sublette at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Hugoton will play them later in the day, at 9:00 a.m.
