Volleyball Recap: Layton Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Layton Christian Academy had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Virgin Valley Bulldogs.

The win made it two in a row for Virgin Valley and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Layton Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ogden at 6:30 p.m. on September 9. As for Virgin Valley, they will challenge GV Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
