Soccer Game Preview: Oakdale vs. Sonora + How To Watch

The Oakdale Mustangs will face off against the Sonora Wildcats at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Oakdale's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Waterford. Oakdale haven't had any issues with Waterford recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Sonora had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Argonaut on Monday as they made off with a 7-2 victory. The score was all tied up 2-2 at the break, but Sonora were the better team in the second half.

Their offense was hitting Argonaut from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Owen Bolter led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Oakdale's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Sonora, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Oakdale was able to grind out a solid win over Sonora in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 6-4. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
