Baseball Recap: Central Extends Winning Streak to Six

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central). They were the clear victor by a 16-1 margin over the Pine Forest Eagles on Wednesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Trevor Land was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Land was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Central got a massive performance out of Quincy Wilson, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Wilson has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Carson Baxley was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.
