Soccer Recap: Normandy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Normandy lost against Rocky River back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Invaders came up short against the Pirates, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Normandy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 302nd, while Rocky River are ranked 65th).

Normandy's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-8-4. As for Rocky River, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-3 record this season.

Normandy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Berea-Midpark at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Rocky River, they will challenge St. Joseph Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rocky River's defense better be ready for this one: St. Joseph Academy have averaged an impressive 2.5 goals per game this season.
