Stargate School has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will face off against the Denver Christian Thunder at 4:00 p.m. Stargate School's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Stargate School finally turned things around against Prospect Ridge Academy on Tuesday. They and the Miners finished up their game with a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Eagles have been dealt a draw since back in September.
Meanwhile, Denver Christian kept a clean sheet against Kent Denver on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Sun Devils 1-0. The Thunder's winning goal came courtesy of Josiah Scadden.
Stargate School's draw makes their record 7-5-2 this season. As for Denver Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-1-3.
