Flag Football Recap: Cooper Godbout Key Part of Team Effort in Titans Win

Glenbrook South won the last time they faced Prospect and things went their way on Saturday too. The Titans put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 39-15 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Titans' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois flag football rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Knights are ranked 43rd).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Glenbrook South to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cooper Godbout, who picked up 47 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 47 yards. The Titans also got help from Selah Cho, who showed off her sure hands for 80 receiving yards.

Glenbrook South's record now sits at 12-1. As for Prospect, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenbrook South will take on Evanston at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Titans 7.7, the Wildkits 9.8) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Prospect, they will face off against Round Lake at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
