 Tuesday just wasn't the day for Valliant's offense. They suffered a  rough 9-0 loss at the hands of the Kingston Redskins  on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Valliant of the  7-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in April of 2023.
 Valliant saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jaxson Beene, who  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases.
 Valliant has  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost four of their last five games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record  this season. As for Kingston, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
 Valliant will head out on the road to  face off against  Wright City at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Wright City's pitching crew has only allowed 1.5  runs per game  this season, so Valliant's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Kingston, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Plainview at 12:15  p.m.
