Football Recap: Liberty Drops Season-High Score on Rondout Valley

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost an 18-14 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rondout Valley Ganders. On the bright side, the 14- point performance marked the Redhawks' highest-scoring contest to date.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Rondout Valley, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Liberty is set to face off against their familiar foe New Paltz at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Rondout Valley will take on rival Saugerties at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
