Basketball Recap: Ben Bolt Comes Up Short

Ben Bolt extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping them down to 2-10. They fell 48-35 to the Three Rivers Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Badgers of the 55-23 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2022.

As for Three Rivers, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.6 points over those games.

Dylan Ender was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 12 points and 16 boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 8.2 rebounds per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayse Alvarado, who posted nine points and six boards.

Looking ahead, Ben Bolt will be home for the holidays to greet La Villa at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Three Rivers, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Port Aransas at 2:45 p.m. on January 2, 2026.
