Football Game Preview: Sandburg Eagles vs. Lockport Porters + How To Watch

The Sandburg Eagles will face off against the Lockport Porters at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sandburg's defense has only allowed 14.6 points per game this season, so Lockport's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Sandburg will bounce into Saturday's contest after beating Lincoln-Way East, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Eagles came out on top against the Griffins by a score of 21-13 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lockport). They put the hurt on Neuqua Valley with a sharp 41-17 win on Friday. Considering the Porters have won three matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Sandburg's record now sits at 7-2. As for Lockport, their record is now 6-3.

Sandburg might still be hurting after the 28-7 defeat they got from Lockport in their previous matchup on October 10th. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
