Volleyball Recap: McKinley Takes a Loss

McKinley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Kailua Surfriders. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Surfriders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

While McKinley was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16, 25-19.

McKinley's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Kailua, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. McKinley will challenge rival Roosevelt at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Kailua is set to square off against their familiar foe Kalaheo at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
