Basketball Recap: Bell Takes a Loss

Bell lost against Interlachen back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bell Bulldogs were outmatched by the Interlachen Rams and fell 77-43. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Interlachen's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Devon Williams led the charge by putting up 14 points in addition to seven assists and five rebounds. That's the most assists Williams has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Raszir Phelps, who went 7 for 15 on his way to 15 points and three steals.

Bell's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Interlachen, they moved to 11-12 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Bell has already played their next contest (against Dixie County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Interlachen will be playing at home against Saint Francis Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Saint Francis Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.7 points per game this season.
