The Amador Buffaloes will face off against the Liberty Ranch Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Amador has given up an average of 25.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Amador is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 60 points on September 5th, they were much more limited against Rosemont on Friday. They were dealt a 41-7 defeat at the hands of the Wolverines.

Meanwhile, Liberty Ranch put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Union Mine 37-8. Considering the Hawks have won three games by more than 28 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Joe Lara and Andrew Quinn. Lara rushed for 97 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries while Quinn rushed for 161 yards and one score on only 13 carries. Quinn's longest rush was for an impressive 59 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Amador's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Liberty Ranch, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Things could have been worse for Amador, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 45-28 loss to Liberty Ranch in their previous meeting back in September of 2024.
