Moapa Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-48 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pahrump Valley Trojans. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
