Volleyball Game Preview: Tigerton Tigers vs. Wolf River Lutheran

The Tigerton Tigers will challenge Wolf River Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Tigerton came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to Almond-Bancroft. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

Tigerton couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Almond-Bancroft a tough time in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 30-28, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Wolf River Lutheran came up short against Saint Thomas Aquinas on Monday, falling 3-0.

Wolf River Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tigerton, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.
