Softball Recap: West Side Comes Up Short

West Side's last matchup with Orange could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Roughriders lost 21-12 to the Tornadoes. The Roughriders just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

West Side's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Orange, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-6-1.

Coming up, West Side is taking a road trip to square off against American History at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Orange, they will welcome Linden at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.5 runs per game on average), something the Tornadoes will no doubt try to take advantage of.
