Bluffton was the 13-12 winner over Oak Hill when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Golden Eagles by a score of 9-8 on Monday. Even though they lost, the Tigers' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.4 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Konley Ault and Kiah Craig did some serious damage despite the final result: Ault went 2-for-4 with one home run, while Craig went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Ault also brought in an RBI, marking her first of the season. Kenley Smith was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Bluffton now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Oak Hill, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.
Coming up, Bluffton will challenge Manchester at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oak Hill, they will take on North Miami at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
